Wedding Video
For the wedding diary that is just a little different.
Here is an Email that I sent a Lady Today, she received my contact details by word of mouth from another client that I have done film work for in the past. I receive several enquiries looking for a wedding videographer every month this just gives an Idea of what I propose when filming for a wedding. I have travelled abroad and filmed entire weekends for couples, Italy and Estonia, and I have also filmed several days leading up to the wedding including rehearsals. Every one I do is different and budgets do vary from each type.
Every wedding is individual and I have no set template to mass produce them. Each one takes a long time editing after the day, the finalised disk for the bride and groom comes in a leather bound case handmade by Barbara Hubert Hand Bookbindery containing both discs of the wedding, The Montage video (45-60 min) edited to music, and a copy of the internet Montage (5-6 min) and the raw footage disc, which is edited but still includes all the audio from the day and Is purely for the bride and groom.

Thanks for your email. Its true I do not have weddings on the website. Although I do receive a lot of enquiries to film them,
Mostly word of mouth. I tend to spend a lot of time editing the wedding videos after the day of filming and I try and give the footage a cinematic feel, not very conventional where possible, Using about 8 songs of the bride & grooms choosing as a soundtrack. Editing each section of the wedding to the different music so it cuts on the drum beat like a music video. So I tend to limit the amount of weddings as Its not fair to have a rushed video and each section takes a few days editing.
For the entire day and edited package as below I charge 1200. (200 deposit 600 on the day and 400 on completion) Of course if you require less filming we can look at the budget.
If you did wish to go ahead with me as your videographer I would need to meet you both before the day and go through styles locations and other details to get a feel for the style and your preference for what to capture. Only by doing this can I properly do a tailor-made wedding video
What I tend to do is film from the morning at about 10 till 10 that night.
I include the bride and groom preparations then the church beforehand, the service and the photo-shoot after. The arriving back at the hotel, the reception its self, a little bit of the meal and then speeches, then I stay on getting the first dance and other highlights from the festivities after. I use 2 separate cameras on occasion (ceremony and speeches for example) but usually stick to one. Attached is a link to a sample montage that I shot for a couple and sent last month, The music is their choice as is the quick style of edit. Just to give you an Idea of what the footage would look like. You can see all my other videos on my website. But I never use any wedding videos for marketing and have permission from this bride to show the video to other brides only.

In the finalised Package, there are two different dvd’s. Ill do as many copies as requested but usually do up 5 or 6. But would need to know how many you want when im making the edits.
- This Dvd is about 45min-1hour. This is a montage video edited together broken into sections.
- This Dvd is the raw footage showing all the speeches and uncut footage, This is totally just for the bride and groom Otherwise all the days footage would be lost.
- A small montage video for uploading to the internet. Showing as much as possible from the day in about 4-5 minutes.
